An SVG (Scale Vector Graphics) font, is an OTF (Open Type Format) font that allows you to display characters in different colours, transparencies and even animations, that are not supported by regular OTF and TIFF font types.
One of the biggest differences between regular fonts and SVG fonts is file size, where SVG fonts can be Megabytes instead of the Kilobytes of regular font types.
You might use a SVG font in creating a brush inspired font such as the Liquid Gold SVG Font + Actions( https://bit.ly/34gPQ5S) below:
You can install an SVG font like you would install any normal font. However, it is worth noting that you will need to use professional software such as Adobe Illustrator(CC 2017 and above), Adobe Photoshop (CC 2018 and above) and Adobe InDesign(CC 2018 and above). Currently, Safari is the only web browser that supports SVG fonts.
