How to import & delete fonts in Procreate

We have created these helpful video tutorials to show you how to add and remove fonts in the Procreate app on your iPad.

Adding fonts to Procreate:

To add a font to your Procreate app;

1. First, download your font files to your iPad, then if they are in a zip folder, tap the zip folder to automatically unzip the files.
2. Select the font file type that you need by tapping and holding the file to bring up the menu.
3. Tap 'Share' then scroll along the list of apps until you find the Procreate icon and tap that.
4. This will open Procreate for you and start the import process.
5. Now when you insert some text into a Procreate file, you will be able to select your newly added font from the list.
   
   

Deleting fonts from Procreate:

To delete a font from your Procreate app;

1. First, navigate to 'On My iPad'.
2. Then tap on the 'Procreate' folder, then the 'Fonts' folder.
3. Pan down through the list of fonts until you find the font you need to delete.
4. Tap 'Select', then tap on the font file you'd like to delete.
5. At the bottom of the screen, towards the right side, you should see the option to 'Delete'.
6. When you tap 'Delete', this font will be removed from your Procreate app.
